
Is the delivery of my package to the designated recipient guaranteed?
Part of WDM’s corporate responsibility to our customers is to retain funds for future handling and shipping as well as any applicable non-equity storage fees. Such funds will be deposited in a separate interest bearing account(s). The account shall be order number specific and in to verify deposits you may send a self-addressed envelope once yearly between January 1st and March 31st requesting such verification. We will provide correspondence from our independent, outside, non-affiliated, investment manager verifying deposits and retention of same made relative to your particular order number(s). Even though we have very sophisticated and thorough means of locating the recipient, there will be times when such efforts are unsuccessful or require additional time and effort. In the unlikely event the recipient has not received any correspondence from WDM within six (6) weeks of the scheduled delivery date, the recipient should contact us either by phone, mail or email at customerservice@wedelivermemories.net. WDM will use reasonable efforts to locate the recipient and deliver the package. The designation of an alternate recipient will also assure that the package is delivered. The acknowledgment cards will assist in this effort as well.
Why would I want to utilize this service when I have many family members who are more than willing to carry out my wishes?
While family members have good intentions, some tend to get distracted by their own lives plus the condition under which some of the items are stored can substantially deteriorate items, especially such as letters, photos, artwork, etc. This service will not only provide future delivery of your special items, but will also store them under ideal conditions. In addition, keep in mind that corporations are perpetual while, unfortunately, loved ones pass on.
While I understand how to calculate the storage costs, how do I determine the weight of my package?
Keep in mind there is no additional fee for packages up to 5 pounds. In the event you are unsure about the weight of your package, all businesses which ship items have postage scales as well as the U.S. Postal Service. In the event you wish to include your credit card information in the application process, we will be happy to weigh your item and e-mail or mail your total cost charged to your card.
Will my package still be delivered in the event my recipient misplaces the gift card?
Absolutely, we have sophisticated procedures in place that will ensure delivery in virtually all cases. The gift cards are merely something tangible to give the recipient until your package arrives on your designated date. Should you wish to purchase additional cards, they are available at $5 per card delivered, postage paid.
What if my recipient wishes to expedite the delivery date?
Once an application is completed, the item is stored along with thousands of other packages. To retrieve one package prior to the designated delivery date would be costly and impractical plus it would be against your wishes. We feel a significant part of the service we offer is the mere anticipation of receiving a card or package from a treasured loved one. That said, should the recipient wish to expedite the delivery, please contact our help desk at Info@WeDeliverMemories.net. An additional fee of $19.95 will be assessed.
What if the customer wishes to change the delivery date?
The customer may change the date at any time. A service charge of $19.95 will be assessed in order to remove the package from its location in storage and place in another date-oriented storage location.
What if my recipient is deceased at the time of delivery?
The package would be delivered to the alternate recipient. In the event an alternate recipient is not named, the executor of the recipient's will/estate may obtain a court order naming a party to whom the delivery should be made and our company will gladly ship the package to such named party. In the absence of a court order, the package will be turned over to the State's unclaimed property section. Again, we strongly recommend the naming of an alternate recipient to insure delivery of your package. Such naming will give you more peace of mind and there in no additional fees involved.
What if my recipient predeceases me?
You will note in the application material that you have a right at any time to designate an alternate recipient. In the event of such an occurrence you can merely complete the alternate recipient information and send the information to us. No additional fee will be assessed.
How can I share this wonderful service with my friends and relatives?
We will be pleased to send out a brochure package to any party of your choice. Simply provide us with a name and mailing address sent to MarketingServices@WeDeliverMemories.net.
What if my recipient does not have a Social Security number?
The application process for a Social Security card is simple and is something that will have to be accomplished at some point. You may obtain information about applying for a social security card by clicking on the U.S. Government link online at http://www.ssa.gov/replace_sscard.html. The application can be made by mail or in person at a Social Security Office near you.
