I remember back when you were two
Trying to learn to swim
I’d pull you up each time you sank
Then you would try and try again

And then one day it happened
You can swim the ocean blue
Confidence is wonderful
'Cause you proved what you can do

There’s nothing you can’t conquer
No race that you can’t win
Reflect on all the things you’ve done
Then “go for it” again

It’s the same thing with that snowboard
Some day you’ll pass me by
Zoom down a snow-capped mountain
All because you tried

Everything in life you’ll find
Sort-of-works that very way
You set your mind to do it
Then seek to find a way

If you think it, you can have it
Yes dreams, they do come true
No matter what you choose to try
I’ll always be with you

I’ll be the sun upon your shoulder
Or the breeze that helps you go
That whisper of encouragement
All the things that make you grow

And for all the love I give you
All I ask for in return
Is that someday, for someone special
You too will pass it on

For Benjamin with much love, Pop

While WDM is a private corporation and a true labor of love, more importantly, I consider it a personal contribution to strengthening family ties and keeping memories alive on behalf of individuals throughout the world for generations upon generations at very affordable prices. The company is dedicated to my daughter, Michelle. While barely thirty years old, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of four, has had three transplant surgeries and is currently awaiting her fourth. To know that she can have letters and other memorabilia delivered to her three young children at key years of their lives, regardless of the outcome of her medical condition, is a great comfort to me. From a personal standpoint, for instance, I am utilizing the service relative to my son, Michael and my grandson, Benjamin. To share a package with Benjamin on his 60th birthday, when I would have been over one hundred years old, is a wonderful thought and because of WDM is now a reality. I can only imagine receiving a letter from one of my grandparents on my 60th birthday, but with this new venture millions of individuals will be able to go to the mailbox; open a letter or package; and let wonderful heart-felt memories flow.
